Hi and welcome to my page. my name is Katie and this page is all about majorettes.

Majorettes is a sport that uses pom-poms, ribbons, flags, wheels and batons. Majorette troupes compete against other troupes for medals and trophies at competitions and also do carnivals and performances during the summer.

 The troupe me and my friends are in is called FIRE AND ICE and our trainer is called Charlotte. Our troupe trains at Bar Hill, but Charlotte also has two other troupes in St.Ives and Huntingdon.

The 3 troupes compete against each other at competitions but we often perform together at carnivals.

At the competitions we have 2 different outfits. One is for military and one is for solos and other performances.  our troupes outfit is red and silver with silver sequins on it. it is a leotard with a small skirt on top of it. We also have to wear shiny skin colour tights, jazz shoes and hats for some outfits.

We recently competed at a competition and Fire and Ice came back with 4 trophies!!
