Handling

The way you handle your ferret is very important to what the ferret thinks of you. if you handle and treat them badly they shall lash out and become very unhappy, although if you treat them with love and care then they shall become your friend and shall have very happy lives in your home.

You must hold them under the upper armpit and below the rear. If you mishandle your ferret then they shall grow up to fear and be frightened of you.

Never hold them too tight that they squirm a lot, this means that they are going to get hurt. Never swing your ferret by the armpit (don't altogether), this will really agitate them and they shall get really cross.

One day your ferret could too be one of your very good mates!!
